Talk to us

Our team of Community Navigators can provide expert, non-judgemental advice and guidance.

Across Brighton and Hove, there is a range of mental health support available. However, we know that it can sometimes be difficult to find out information about services, know how to access them and know which ones are right for you.

One of our key aims is to ensure that no matter where people enter the mental health system, they can easily gain access to services that meet their needs.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement

We'd like to reassure you that we are here to take your calls and answer your emails as per our normal opening times (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm).

We also have a list of self-help tools, Apps and resources here, to help you stay well.

Central Access Point

To help you navigate and access Community Roots’ services, we have set up a ‘central access point’, which includes a freephone number and this dedicated website.

The freephone number is operated by a team of Community Navigators, who can guide you through support available and provide professional advice.

Our website provides a summary of Community Roots’ support and a list of resources that you may find useful. You will also find information about how you can get involved and the latest news on mental health and wellbeing activities happening across the city.

"You put me at ease with everything, which was a breath of fresh air." - Caller to the Central Access Point

About our Community Navigators

Our Community Navigators are a friendly, caring bunch who understand that taking that first step to contact support for your mental health can be hard.

The team is based in Brighton and, as the first point of contact for the Community Roots network, are experts on the wide range of support available.

After talking through how you are feeling and the type of support that would meet your needs, the Community Navigator will contact service/s directly on your behalf.  The individual service/s will then get in touch to arrange details for you to access support. The Community Navigator can also advise on useful resources available.
